Polycystic ovary syndrome is a condition which affects how the ovaries work and one of the most obvious symptoms is excessive facial hair growth. In our experience, this is also prevalent on the chest, stomach and top of the thighs or some individuals also.

We see many individuals in-clinic who historically have had to shave their face (predominantly the chin area) both morning and night, each and every day. It's devastating as a woman and laser hair removal is the most effective way to aid this condition.

Hormones are the key player here and there is no cure for the condition and so it will more than likely mean that the individual has to be treated monthly on an ongoing basis. This is the reason we offer this treatment half-price and is a fantastic way to ensure you’re helping this section of society.

Of course, it could get rid of the hair permanently with normal maintenance, however, this is unlikely. What we do know however is that it makes a huge difference to PCOS sufferers. We have some clients down to shaving once a month compared to twice a day!! Incredible and uch a wonderful confidence boost for the individual.
